Job summary
L3Harris Space Mission Systems in Camden, NJ is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead development of mission-critical software, guiding a team through requirements analysis, architecture, design, implementation, integration, and test. You will ensure delivery of high-quality software aligned with cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with extensive software leadership experience.
- Experience designing, developing, or integrating RESTful services in production.
- Strong collaboration across engineering disciplines and programs.
- DoD Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Experience in Agile or hybrid Agile environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical and task leadership for a software team.
- Lead development of RESTful APIs and service-based architectures.
- Guide deployment on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and RPM packaging.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Mentor engineers and support recruiting, performance management and onboarding.
- Contribute to proposals and rough order of magnitude estimates.
