Vylor, Inc. in Des Moines, IA seeks an innovative Software Engineering Manager to lead an engineering team within Integrated Enterprise Systems, driving delivery health, cost, and reliability.

The role requires 5–10 years leading engineers, strong collaboration with cross-functional partners, and a focus on quality, security, and scalable software. A Bachelor’s in computing and hands-on credibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computing or related field.
• Experience leading engineers including hiring, coaching, feedback, and performance.
• Engineering background sufficient for credible technical discussions with the team.
• Experience owning team delivery, prioritization, dependencies, and commitments.
• Experience establishing quality, reliability, and incident response practices.
• Ability to create clarity from ambiguity through outcomes and owners.
• Ability to communicate trade-offs across teams, regions, and disciplines.
• Working knowledge of security, privacy, compliance, and accessibility practices.
