Job summary

Vylor in the Des Moines metro area is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to design and maintain software for cutting-edge R&D equipment used in greenhouses, laboratories, seed processing facilities, and field equipment.

You will develop C++/C# solutions to control imaging systems, integrate hyperspectral imaging with automation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet evolving customer needs on a seasonal schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industrial automation.
• Be able to work in the U.S. without restriction.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in C++ or C# for industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain software for R&D equipment.
• Develop C++/C# software to control imaging systems.
• Integrate hyperspectral imaging with robotic/industrial systems.
• Work on cross-functional teams from spec to deployment.
