Job summary
Johnson Health Tech is seeking an Engineering Manager – Software Team to lead a multinational software group responsible for console software and firmware for fitness equipment. You will guide engineers, set development direction, and partner with Product Marketing, UX/UI, Web Development and QA to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
The role requires 1–5 years of managerial experience, strong OO programming in C++, C#, or Java, and deep knowledge of MCU/ARM embedded development.
Qualifications
- BS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent; advanced degree a plus.
- 1–5 years of managerial experience.
- 5 years of OO programming in C++, C# or Java; UI based app development.
- 5 years of experience with unit testing and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of MCU and ARM Embedded System Development
Responsibilities
- Attract, hire, and mentor engineering staff.
- Set development plans and translate requirements into actionable tasks.
- Guide software development, enforce standards, and lead teams.
- Coordinate cross-regional communication between Americas and Asia.
- Review quality data and provide production support with on-call readiness
