Job summary

Beacon Technologies is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of software, firmware, and embedded engineers in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. You will drive technical strategy, mentor engineers, and partner with Product, UX/UI, QA, and Marketing to deliver innovative connected products.

Responsibilities include setting development standards, planning projects across global teams, removing blockers, and ensuring on-time launches. Travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 1–5 years of engineering leadership or management experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience with C++, C#, or Java.
• Experience with Python or JavaScript and UI development.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, MCU, and ARM-based platforms.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and technical documentation.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex technical projects.
