Job summary

KLA is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead the Diagnostics & Calibration software team for EUV actinic reticle inspection systems. You will provide technical leadership, people management, and deliver robust, scalable software that diagnoses and calibrates reticle inspection platforms.

You will collaborate with physicists, hardware engineers, system teams, and global software groups to translate complex requirements into maintainable software.

Qualifications

• Multidisciplinary background in Physical science, Computer science, Microscopy, Optics, or relevant fields.
• 8+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in technical leadership or engineering management.
• Strong background in system-level software development involving hardware‑software interaction.
• Familiarity with AI tools for SW development (e.g. Devin, Codex).
• Familiarity with building applications using LLMs / generative AI and agentic frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or C#.
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale software in multi-developer environments.

• Drive design excellence for reliability, maintainability and scalability.
• Collaborate with hardware, subsystem, system, manufacturing and service teams.
• Lead design/code reviews and development best practices across the team.
• Own delivery commitments including planning, tracking, and risk management.
• Ensure CI/CD processes support reliable software releases and assist in root-cause analysis.
