Job summary
Mastercard is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead one or more agile teams within Ethoca, focusing on scalable microservice architectures and RESTful services. You will guide engineers, partner with product and operations, and drive continuous improvement in delivery, quality, and security.
Ideal applicants have a Bachelor's in CS, strong Agile background, and hands-on leadership for fast-growing products, with experience in AI-enhanced SDLC and PCI DSS environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven track record managing Agile teams, hiring and performance management.
- Hands-on leadership with entrepreneurial mindset in growing product/service companies.
- Experience applying AI to improve SDLC and process efficiency.
- Strong CI/CD and build automation experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage, coach and develop 1+ scrum teams of engineers across multiple services.
- Lead delivery of internal or market-facing products with agile practices.
- Drive on-time, high-quality software releases with CI/CD and automation.
- Collaborate with product management and operations to meet business goals.
- Foster a culture of quality, productivity, and innovation.
