Qualifications

• Proficiency with Java SDK 1.8 or greater.
• Deep knowledge of SAFe/Agile development processes.
• Broad experience with JBoss, Tomcat, shell scripting, JSON, multithreading, Maven, Linux, SQL, Pivotal, Kafka and Spring ecosystem.
• Experience using Eclipse or IntelliJ and deploying code artifacts.
• Experience integrating vendor and open source products into a system.
• Experience with cloud software development (PCF, Azure) and microservices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop high performance, high volume Java applications with a team of engineers.
• Deliver software solutions through direct development.
• Assist with production support as SME for incidents.
• Collaborate with leads, engineers, analysts to define features and stories.
• Contribute to planning and development of software solutions.
• Learn and contribute to the complex Mastercard platform quickly.
• Perform code reviews to ensure best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
