Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Program Director – Learning & Enablement to lead enterprise software engineering learning, AI fluency, and enablement across 65,000 technologists in a strategic, standards-driven role.

You will architect scalable learning programs, drive evaluation of AI tools like Copilot and Claude, and align learning metrics with business outcomes, fostering engineering excellence and responsible AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and scaling learning and enablement for large technical populations.
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering patterns and agile delivery.
• Model and advocate AI-enabled workflows with developer tooling to improve capability development, productivity, and learning.
• Hands-on proficiency with AI coding assistants and code-generation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude).
• Experience building data-driven measurement frameworks that connect learning or enablement activity to outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce executive-level strategy documents.
• Working proficiency in Python for data analysis.
• Familiarity with AI-native developer tooling and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the firm's SME for software engineering learning and enablement, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership.
• Architect and shape the firm's software engineering learning and enablement strategy across Lines of Business and Tech Centers.
• Establish learning architecture, standards, and frameworks for modular, on-demand experiences.
• Build learning content into firmwide development programs, conferences, workshops and internships.
• Lead software engineering and AI learning communities and accelerate adoption of modern practices.
• Define firmwide measurement standards tying learning to outcomes and leadership insights.
• Establish governance ensuring responsible AI-enabled engineering practices in line with risk and compliance.
• Direct platform and vendor governance across learning applications and tooling.
