Qualifications

• Formal software engineering training with 5+ years of experience.
• 10+ years building enterprise-grade software products.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Core/Boot, REST APIs, JPA and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of engineers.
• Accountable for decisions influencing resources, budget and processes.
• Set operating practices for AI-assisted engineering and SDLC automation across teams.
• Drives adoption and governance of AI-assisted practices to improve code quality and delivery.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools and AI-enabled capabilities to drive efficiency.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture.
• Ensures collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
• Identifies issues to execute a book of work and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with end users and product teams for timely deliverables.
• Provides input to leadership on budget and technical strategy.
• Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies.
