Job summary

IGS Energy is seeking a Software Engineer Lead to guide cross-functional teams in delivering high-value software. You will balance hands-on development with leadership, participate in requirements sessions, and maintain a clean, quality code base using SOLID, TDD/BDD in a Scrum/Lean environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product managers, analysts, and QA, with a strong focus on reducing technical debt and delivering on time in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years enterprise-level software development using Microsoft tech stack.
• Technical certifications are a plus (MCSD, MCPD).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operational, maintenance, and project work within the Application Development team.
• Motivate and engage team members to foster excellence.
• Write SOLID code using TDD/BDD approaches.
• Design, code, configure, unit test, and deploy applications per specs.
• Collaborate in requirements sessions with analysts and end-users.
• Mentor and conduct code reviews for less senior developers.
