Job summary

EG4 Electronics in Dallas, TX seeks a Sr Manager, Software Engineering to provide hands-on technical and architectural leadership across product, platform, and integration initiatives. You will drive delivery with Agile practices while mentoring engineers and guiding architecture.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect/engineer proficient in Angular, React, Java, Python and AWS, with strong full-stack development experience and a track record of leading Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with 2–3 years leading or mentoring teams.
• Proven coding and architectural experience in front-end: Angular/React; back-end: Java/Python; cloud: AWS.
• Experience with Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute software engineering strategy aligned with product goals and architecture.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of engineers, fostering ownership and continuous improvement.
• Manage 5–6 concurrent projects using Agile methodologies and remove roadblocks for timely delivery.
• Hands-on development of full-stack applications (Angular, React, Java, Python) and cloud architecture on AWS.
• Drive API development, third-party integrations, and compliance with safety and UL standards.
• Collaborate with product, hardware, and compliance teams to plan and launch new products.
