Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory offers a 10-12 week summer internship for Computer Engineering majors, starting May/June 2027. You will work with senior engineers and scientists on real projects that impact the Navy's nuclear fleet.

Ideal candidates are pursuing BS/MS/PhD in engineering, have completed at least a year of college by 2027, and can attach transcripts and a resume. The program includes mentorship, site tours, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing software/engineering degree in an accredited program.
• Must have completed at least first full year of college by May 2027.
• Enrolled/continuing in degree program throughout this internship.
• Attach unofficial transcripts and resume with application.

Responsibilities

• Work with world-class engineers, scientists, researchers, and technicians.
• Design and test software, components, or integrated systems.
• Develop models, run data analysis, and support operations.
• Contribute to process controls and procedures.

Education

Pursuing BS/MS/PhD in Computer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related

Must have completed at least first full year of college by May 2027

Enrolled/continuing in a degree program throughout this internship

Three completed years of college education by May 2027 (anticipated graduation in 2028)
