Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory offers a 10-12 week Electrical Engineering internship beginning May/June 2027, with hands-on experience alongside leading engineers and scientists. Interns will work on software, components, and integrated systems, gaining real-world mentorship and exposure to state-of-the-art techniques.

Successful interns may receive a return internship or full-time offer based on eligibility and performance, while experiencing a collaborative culture emphasizing trust and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be pursuing Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related BS, MS or PhD.
• Must have completed at least first full year of college by May 2027.
• Enrolled/continuing in a degree program throughout this internship.

Responsibilities

• Assist world-class engineers, scientists, researchers and technicians.
• Work on design and testing of software, components or integrated systems.
• Develop models and perform data analysis as part of project deliverables.
• Participate in presentations and networking with leadership and teams.
