Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an intern to join the Critical Infrastructure Communication (CIC) Engineering Team. You will learn the product portfolio, become a developer on a product line, and contribute to a next-generation product while assisting with subsystem design and software development.

You will work with Java, C, or C++, and help integrate cloud DevOps tools into the existing CI/CD process, gaining hands-on experience in software engineering practices and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in a technical field of study (Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test software using Java, C or C++.
• Integrate GE Cloud DevOps tools into GE MDS CI/CD process (e.g., Python Robot Framework).
• Follow established engineering processes and document progress to project management.
• Estimate time for features and issues to aid prioritization.
• Learn and work on assignments to stretch skills and deliver customer outcomes.
