AeroVironment is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for a 12-week onsite program across AV teams. You will contribute to real-world software projects spanning ground control, data pipelines, and UI tools while learning from experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS, software engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred; junior level or above encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, coding, testing, and debugging software components.
• Develop tools and apps to support AV robotics and aerospace platforms.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to integrate capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and version control workflows.
• Help develop scripts to automate team workflows and improve efficiency.
• Learn and apply best practices in software development and Agile processes.
• Support prototypes, simulations, and demonstrations.
