Job summary

Rilla, based in New York City, is building AI-powered sales coaching software. We are an in-office team in NYC with fast-moving engineers, creating systems to index billions of real-world conversations and empower customers.

As an early technical steward, you will ship end-to-end workflows, raise the bar for code quality, and own patterns that scale as Rilla grows. You’ll work across stack, using React, Python, and cloud tooling to solve real-world problems.

Qualifications

• Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, C++, Python, or Rust.
• Strong engineering experience, ideally from startups.
• Familiar with storage and data processing systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to iterate quickly with teammates.

The Role

Rilla engineers architect and ship features across the stack at lightning speed. On a daily basis, you will build end-to-end workflows, take them to production, and solve real world problems across an out-sized scale.

As an early technical steward, you will raise the bar for code quality and decision‑making, setting patterns that cement a world‑class engineering culture as we scale. What We Require

• Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages, such as Javascript, C++, Python, Rust, or similar languages.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to iterate quickly with teammates, incorporating feedback and holding a high bar for quality.
