Job summary

UDig LLC is launching its 2027 Summer Internship Program in Nashville or Richmond. This eight‑week opportunity lets students work on live client engagements, gain hands-on experience, and learn modern stacks with mentorship from senior consultants.

You will contribute to code quality, participate in reviews, and apply classroom knowledge to real projects in a consulting setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a CS/Software Engineering degree.
• Exposure to relational databases or REST APIs is a plus.
• Proactive, ownership mindset with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, well-documented code as part of a delivery team.
• Gain practical experience with modern development stacks and cloud platforms.
• Participate in code reviews and pairing with consultants.
• Help debug, refactor, and document existing systems.

What You ’ llDo:

• Write clean, well-documented, well-tested code as part of a delivery team working on an active client engagement.
• Gain practical experience with modern development stacks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps tools.
• Participate in code reviews and pairing withConsultants, applying feedback to sharpen your engineering craft.
• Help debug, refactor, and document existing systems, and contribute to data models and integrations where the project calls for it.
• Dedicate time to research emerging technologies and best practices relevant to your project, applying your academic knowledge in a professional setting.

WhatYou ’ llBring:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• Exposure to relational databases and SQL, REST APIs, or cloud services is a plus.
• A strong passion for technology consulting and a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the enthusiasm to ask questions and learn rapidly.
• Ability to work full-time for the duration of the 8-week summer program (6/7-7/30) in a hybrid model based out of one of our hub locations (Nashville or Richmond).
