HMH is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join our team in Houston, TX. You will support the Software Engineering group in development, testing, and deployment of software applications used across our drilling and industrial control platforms.
You will work alongside experienced engineers on coding, unit tests, tooling, and documentation within an agile environment, gaining hands-on experience while applying classroom knowledge to real-world industry challenges.

The Software Engineering Intern will support HMH's Software Engineering team in the development, testing, and deployment of software applications used across our drilling and industrial control platforms. This internship provides hands-on experience with real-world software development in a collaborative, agile environment. The intern will work alongside experienced engineers on tasks that may include coding, code reviews, unit testing, tooling, documentation, and lab support; gaining practical experience applying classroom knowledge to industry problems while contributing to safe, efficient, and reliable products.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status. No relocation assistance provided. Internship is 12 weeks, May 24 - August 13, 2027
