Responsibilities

  • Coordinate materials, tooling, and Lean improvements to support shop production.
  • Manage shop scheduling and improve visibility with SAP reports.
  • Liaise with Product Quality Specialists on non-conformance tracking and resolution.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Learn about material staging, SAP scheduling, and Lean setup reduction projects.

The Intern will be responsible for:
  • Coordinate materials, tooling, and Lean improvements to support shop production.
  • Manage shop scheduling and work on improved visibility with SAP reports.
  • Liaise with Product Quality Specialists on Non-conformance tracking and resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.
The Intern also will learn about the following:
  • Streamline material staging and set-ups for production jobs.
  • Improve shop scheduling using SAP.
  • Deliverables with accurate dispatch lists, scheduling Tool using SAP data extracts and two Lean setup reduction projects.
Skills/Requirements
  • Must be currently enrolled at the time internship commences and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Mechanical or Industrial Engineering majors preferred.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Good interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across multiple functions to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Additional Information

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status. No relocation assistance provided. Internship is 12 weeks, May 24-August 13, 2027.
