Job summary

Gas South, LLC is seeking a motivated IT intern/entry-level developer to assist the development team in understanding the tech stack, codebase, and QA environment. You will help implement minor changes, write unit tests, manual QA, and support test automation under guidance from the team lead.

You should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or CIS, with internship or prior related experience preferred, and familiarity with Azure DevOps, C#, VB.NET, HTML/CSS, Angular, Git, and

• Internship or prior relevant work experience is preferred
• Understanding of Azure DevOps and/or other development environments.
• Understanding of C# and/or VB.NET, HTML, CSS, Angular and other front-end frameworks will be a huge plus.
• Understanding or exposure to the following technologies are a plus: Git
• Testing Tools such as Selenium, JMeter
• Experience with working in Agile / Fast Paced Development Environment.
• Deadline oriented with proven task-completion record; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

Job description

This position is working in Gas South’s Information Technology Office. Under general supervision and working with the development team, understand the technology stack, review and understand the code base and QA environment, implement minor application changes and/or perform testing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in daily scrums and work on the assigned tasks.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

Compensation:$18.00 to $22.00/hourly based on grade level

Pay range is commensurate with education, experience, specialized skills or certifications, etc.

Gas South Base Pay Range : $18 USD - $22 USD
