Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado Springs, CO seeks an Associate Manager and Control Account Manager (CAM) for the Meridian program’s Enterprise Integration Team. You will supervise 5–10 software engineers, manage control accounts, and align scope with the WBS and schedule while applying earned value management practices.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, experience with cost control, and a Final Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technical discipline or equivalent
  • Experience with Cost Account Management and/or Earned Value Management
  • Experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Final Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and assess progress across multiple Control Accounts and Work Packages.
  • Define and assess completion of scope against WBS and OBS with Agile planning and IMS.
  • Plan, assign and determine program performance based on earned value techniques using Agile processes.
  • Ensure time-phased budget reflects contractual requirements.
  • Review data for cost and schedule analysis, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Supply status and updates to the program schedule and Jira planning.
  • Provide objective progress assessments to program stakeholders.
  • Prepare/approve/accept Work Authorizations Documents.
  • Lead and coordinate technical product development and reviews through the design lifecycle.

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a highly skilled individual to perform as an Associate Manager and Control Account Manager (CAM) for the Meridian program’s Enterprise Integration Team. This position will serve as a functional manager for 5-10 software engineers.

As a Software Engineering Cost Account Manager, You Will
  • Establish and assess progress multiple Control Accounts (CA) and Work Packages (WP)
  • Define and assess completion of scope against the work breakdown structure and organization breakdown structure in accordance with Agile planning and program integrated master schedule
  • Plan, assign and determine program performance based on earned value techniques, using Agile processes
  • Ensure time phased budget reflects contractual requirements
  • Review data for supporting cost and schedule analysis, including identifying and communicating risks and opportunities
  • Supply status and updates to the program schedule and Jira planning
  • Provide objective progress assessments to the program stakeholders
  • Prepare/approve/accept Work Authorizations Documents
  • Lead and coordinate technical product development and reviews through the design lifecycle
Leadership Responsibilities
  • Perform functional leadership responsibilities, including workforce management (re-assignments, placements, recruitment, and selection of new employees, and terminations)
  • Personnel management (training, mentoring, career development, performance, and compensation management)

Manages software development activities. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the design, development, documentation, and testing of software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Ensures software standards are met.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technical discipline or closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Experience with Cost Account Management and/or Earned Value Management
  • Experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Final Secret Security Clearance required.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $120600.00 - $224000.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
