Job summary

VTG is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to support a mission-focused customer developing, deploying, and maintaining user-facing Command and Control (C2) systems for embedded devices in Maryland. The role involves analyzing requirements, designing robust software, and integrating with embedded SDKs.

You will work across languages (Java, C++, Python, JavaScript), build containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes, and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Poly required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience with enterprise backend systems.
• Experience with databases and data-driven applications.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-availability systems using modern architecture principles.
