Job summary

HII Mission Technologies seeks a skilled Software Engineer to support unmanned maritime systems with strong C# fundamentals, TAK integration, and distributed software architectures. The role offers a hybrid schedule (1–2 onsite days per week) with the possibility of fully remote consideration based on location and experience.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, support lab and fleet testing, and contribute to mission‑critical software used by Navy operators.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience with a degree as listed.
• Hands-on C# software development experience and strong fundamentals.
• Experience with distributed, modular architectures and secure coding practices.
• Current DoD SECRET clearance or solvable to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain C#-based software applications.
• Build and integrate plug-ins for WinTAK, ATAK, and TAK Server.
• Support software for MK18 family systems and related tools.
• Translate requirements into technical solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure secure coding practices.
• Support government and fleet test events and prepare documentation.
