Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Software Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT. You will join the System Software Integration and Test Team to develop simulators, emulators, and automation software that validate end-user requirements across multiple hardware platforms.

You will collaborate with systems engineers and hardware/software teams, ensuring contract commitments and deadlines are met while maintaining rigorous documentation and lab integration activities.

Qualifications

• BSCS/BSCE/BSEE/BSME from ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• 4+ years of directly related experience in software development.
• Active Secret security clearance required or ability to obtain and maintain one.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a software engineering team on the System Software Integration and Test organization.
• Develop simulators, emulators and automation software to validate end-user requirements.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to integrate software on various hardware platforms and with other software/hardware engineers.
• Ensure adherence to contractual requirements, cost and schedule constraints, and achieve objectives.
• Document work and assist in lab integration of system software.
