Job summary

Ramp is seeking a Software Engineer focused on stablecoin-based payment and treasury systems. You will own core services, ensure secure integrations with external partners, and guide Ramp’s fintech evolution. The role suits someone who loves building distributed, regulated financial infrastructure with high‑stakes impact.

You’ll work on secure transaction flows, wallet security, and scalable payment rails, collaborating across Ramp to deliver end-to-end product experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience shipping high-quality architectures for critical systems.
• Proven experience with stablecoin technologies, blockchain-based rails, and/or wallet infra.
• Strong production experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and IaC (Terraform or equivalent).
• Deep proficiency in at least one object-oriented or functional programming language (Python, Go, Java, or similar).
• Experience working on security-sensitive systems, with interest in key management, wallet security, or secure transaction flows.
• Experience building or operating payments, money movement, treasury, stablecoin, or crypto infrastructure in production environments

About the Role

Ramp is, at its core, a fintech company. Our financial infrastructure enables us to issue cards, move money globally, and manage treasury flows for our customers. Stablecoins are emerging as a critical lever to make these flows faster, cheaper, and more accessible.

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our engineering team with a dedicated focus on stablecoin-based payment and treasury systems. In this role, you will act as both a technical owner and multiplier: working on core stablecoin services, ensuring secure and reliable integrations with external partners, and guiding Ramp’s evolution toward next-generation fintech solutions.

What You Need

• Proven experience with stablecoin technologies, blockchain‑based payment rails, and/or wallet infrastructure

• Experience building or operating payments, money movement, treasury, stablecoin, or crypto infrastructure in production environments

Nice to Have

• Intuition for on‑chain UX and settlement mechanics, including wallet‑based transaction signing, confirmation/finality, and chain‑level tradeoffs like fees and latency.

• Direct experience building on‑chain wallets or with integrating a crypto onramp / offramp APIs for custody and remittance flows

• Experience integrating with external financial service providers and APIs at scale

• Familiarity with cross‑border settlement, FX, or treasury management systems

• Background in highly regulated fintech environments (e.g., payments, banking, or government‑compliant infrastructure)
