Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Software Engineer to join our project team developing application software in Colorado Springs on site. This role requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for SECRET clearance, with export control compliance.

You will participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation, following our established software development process. Ideal candidates have a CS degree (or equivalent experience) and strong C++ skills.

Qualifications

• Must be U.S. Citizen and eligible for SECRET security clearance.
• BS in Computer Science or related discipline; 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• C++ programming experience.
• Experience with Object Oriented software development theory and associated methodologies; good understanding of coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the requirements analysis and design for software applications or sub-components.
• Code or maintain software applications or sub-components from specifications.
• Follow established software development process.
• Create appropriate process artifacts including: requirements documentation, design documentation, and test plans.
• Test applications as identified in the development methodology, and create necessary documentation.
