Job summary

Beyond SOF in Syracuse, NY is seeking a software engineer to design and develop components for sensors, enabling high-throughput data processing and fault recovery. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of related professional experience.
• Programming experience with Python and C++.
• Comfort working on embedded Linux operating systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and overcome technical challenges.
• Experience with or willingness to learn Radar, Sensor Systems, DSP, MATLAB, SQL, and web tech like JavaScript/Flask.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software components for sensor systems.
• Develop full stack web applications for monitoring sensor networks.
• Collaborate with Software, Systems, Digital, and RF engineers to advance product capabilities.
• Participate in design reviews and active validation of designs.
• Improve CM/CI capabilities and coverage.
