Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is hiring a Software Development Engineer to build manufacturing software for satellite assembly, calibration, testing, and provisioning. The role partners with manufacturing engineering, product engineering, and security teams to translate requirements into practical software solutions.

You will design end-to-end capabilities for manufacturing orchestration across factory lines, tackle novel challenges, and contribute to Leo's secure software

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing software to drive the assembly, calibration, testing, and provisioning of satellites.
• Collaborate with teams from manufacturing engineering, product engineering, and security engineering to identify requirements and design manufacturing software.
• Design and develop the end-to-end system capabilities required for manufacturing orchestration across factory production lines.
• Engage with cross-disciplinary teams to develop, qualify, produce, and deploy solutions enabling Leo's global network.
