Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a recent college graduate to join our Rotational Engineering Program in Torrance, CA. This two-year program rotates you through multiple engineering disciplines, delivering hands-on software and firmware experience alongside senior mentors.

You’ll design, develop, test, and integrate software for embedded and enterprise systems, while gaining exposure to leadership and cross-functional teams in a mission-driven environment. Location: Torrance, California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering or computer science (May 2026–June 2027).
• GPA 3.1+ required; transcripts reviewed during review.
• Co-op or internship experience.
• Experience with embedded programming on hardware.
• Experience with C/C++.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Experience presenting technical information to varied stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure.
• Demonstrated initiative through academic projects or internships.

College Graduate - Rotational Engineering Program (REP) - start date July 2027 in Torrance, CA

Mercury Systems is seeking a recent college graduate to join our Rotational Engineering Program, a dynamic opportunity to develop cutting-edge technology that supports the American Warfighter. As a Software REP Engineer,you'll join a collaborative engineering team focused on designing, developing, integrating, and testing software and firmware solutions for embedded and enterprise systems. Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and test software

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering or computer science obtainedbetween May 2026 and June 2027
• A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the review process
• Prior Co‑Op or internship experience
• Experience with embedded programming on hardware
• Experience with C/C++
• Strong analytical, problemsolving, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
• Experience presenting technical information to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
• Demonstrated initiative through academic projects, internships, or process improvements
• Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, or engineering concepts
