Job summary

Searchability Aerospace & Defense seeks a senior software engineer to design and build high-performance, distributed systems for real-time signal processing in government applications.

You will contribute across backend services, APIs and data pipelines, mentor peers, and lead architectural decisions in a TS-cleared, US-citizen team. This on-site role emphasizes scalable, robust software in a modern Linux stack.

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong C, C++ and Python development experience.
Experience developing software on Linux using Git and Agile processes.
Active Top Secret clearance and US citizenship.
RabbitMQ, NATS and AMQP messaging.
REST APIs, OpenAPI and contract testing.
Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and ArgoCD.
GitLab, Nexus and SonarQube.
Prometheus, Loki and Grafana.
AWS, VMware and cloud-native infrastructure.
Ansible, Packer, Terraform and Rancher.

Responsibilities

Develop C, C++ and Python software for distributed signal-processing systems.
Design scalable services, APIs and data integration pipelines.
Build intuitive user-facing applications and database architectures.
Support integration, verification and deployment at customer facilities.
Lead architecture decisions and mentor other software engineers.
