Ideal candidates have strong Python and/or Java development experience and prior production software experience in fast-paced financial environments, particularly in front-office or market data contexts.

This is a high-impact engineering role embedded directly within theEquities and Rates trading teams, working closely with Traders, Quants, and Technologists to build systems critical to the firm's trading operation.

Market experience: Candidates should have professional experience within a financial markets or trading front office environment. Experience working with options, equities, rates or electronic trading systems would be particularly relevant.

You’ll work on:

• Building high-performance full-stack solutions for front-office trading workflows.
• Working closely with Traders and Quants to understand requirements and deliver technology solutions.
• Integrating existing services and platforms to solve business-critical problems.
• Designing, developing, and supporting systems across the full development lifecycle.

They’re looking for:

• Strong Python and/or Java development experience, with baseline knowledge of both preferred.
• Experience building production software in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Previous experience working within Equities or Rates, ideally in a trading, financial markets, or market data environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with Traders, Quants, and Technology teams.
