Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a software engineer to craft system software for on prem private clouds, with a focus on converged appliance platforms and VCF integration. You will work with architects and leads to implement enhancements, develop in Java, Go, and Python, and own full-stack aspects including REST APIs.

You’ll participate in service ownership, monitoring, alert automation, and on-call rotations to ensure reliable SLOs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience.
• Master's degree typically expected with 6+ years of related experience.
• PhD with 3+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enhancements and new capabilities in VCF and related areas.
• Collaborate with architects and technical leads to deliver converged appliance platform.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide operational support to the platform.
• Improve and maintain CI pipelines for components and perform code reviews.
• Respond to customer issues and interact with support and release teams.
