Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Software Engineer for its Glenwood, IL office to design, develop, and support business-critical applications that integrate with enterprise systems and cloud services.

The role focuses on building scalable .NET applications, optimizing performance, and delivering reliable deployments within an Agile team. Remote flexibility up to two days per week is available after an initial onsite period, with a competitive salary of $120–140K and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with C# and/or VB.NET in enterprise applications.
• Advanced SQL Server skills including stored procedures and data integration.
• Experience with Entity Framework in enterprise apps.
• Hands-on with source control, automated deployments and build tools.
• Experience deploying and supporting apps in AWS.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning in distributed systems.
• Experience working in Agile teams using Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using .NET technologies.
• Build and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data integrations.
• Troubleshoot application performance, reliability, and latency issues across distributed systems.
• Develop integrations between enterprise applications, third-party platforms, and cloud services.
• Support software deployment, release management, and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable business solutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, and technical documentation.
