Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Arlington, TX to design, build, and improve complex applications. This hands-on leadership role focuses on coding, shaping architecture, solving production problems, and mentoring peers without direct reports.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of software development experience and strong skills in C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, SQL, and AWS. On-site work Mon-Thu with remote Friday; competitive pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong C#, .NET Core, and JavaScript skills.
• At least five years of SQL experience with SQL Server or equivalent.
• Experience designing complex architectures and guiding technical decisions.
• Familiarity with legacy ASP.NET and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS, ECS, and containerized applications.
• Ability to review code and collaborate effectively with other developers.
• Degree or certification welcome; priority is demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

• Design software solutions meeting business needs and scalable for the future.
• Develop, test, and review code using established engineering practices.
• Connect internal applications with third-party systems and services.
• Diagnose difficult application issues and resolve production incidents.
• Improve existing systems for changing operational needs.
• Partner with developers on technical designs and mentor less-experienced team members.
• Document system architecture, workflows, and key technical decisions.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to plan and deliver application updates.
