Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a creative and talented engineer who is passionate about solving problems and improving the lives of people. This full stack role focuses on designing, implementing and supporting React frontends and C# backends, integrating with MES and ERP systems, and interfacing with factory equipment to automate manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, CS, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years’ experience with application development, including: Database integration, C# and Microsoft .Net
• Collaborates in a team environment; ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and implement processes following industry best practices for developing, testing, and deploying software.
• Prepare and maintain design and specification documentation.

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a creative and talented engineer who is passionate about solving problems and improving the lives of people. SEL develops critical products that provide the main interface for protecting, controlling, monitoring & analyzing the power grid. Our team supports our manufacturing teams across the globe. We focus on building highly available & resilient distributed software with an emphasis on automation systems. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about creating high quality software that provides value to its users. This candidate is excited about solving unique and challenging problems and finds joy in inventing creative solutions. They also seek opportunities to expand their skills and experiences and teach others. This role is full stack, working on both frontend and backend development. Your primary focus will be designing, implementing and supporting React based frontends and C# based backends and integrating with MES and ERP systems and interfacing with factory equipment to create highly automated manufacturing processes.

Pay Range Data

• Associate Software Engineer, $81,300 - $122,000.
• Software Engineer, $88,400 - $132,700.
