Job summary

Jobtailor in Frisco, Texas is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge software solutions. You will implement components per design docs, document and unit-test, and prepare for integration into the final product.

Responsibilities include architecting solutions, building CI/CD pipelines, and guiding features for various technologies. Onsite work is required five days a week in Frisco, TX.

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship or green card holder status.
• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer on complex projects.
• Excellent coding skills in Java, Python, .Net, or similar.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.
• Knowledge of microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and messaging queues.
• Object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
• Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud (preferred; may be obtained with Kyndryl).
• Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices (preferred).
• Candidate must work onsite 5 days a week in Frisco, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge software solutions.
• Implement identified software components using design documentation and specifications.
• Document and unit-test implemented components.
• Prepare components for integration into the final product.
• Architect solutions, test code, and deploy and build CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide work estimates for assigned development work.
• Guide features, objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties.
• Drive innovation and take ownership of software development work.
• Collaborate with team members and develop problem-solving, collaboration, and automation skills.
