Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer in San Diego to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native solutions using the .NET stack and AWS services. You will own end-to-end design, ensure code quality, and drive sprint execution while collaborating across architecture, product, and data teams.

The role focuses on scalable, high-performance backend services, RESTful APIs, and service-oriented architectures with emphasis on platform modernization and strong SDLC governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing and implementing complex systems using the .NET technology stack and web services.
• Experience with .NET, C#, JavaScript, CSS3, Angular, JSON, REST services, SQL Server, and Node.js development.
• Hands-on PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server, including stored procedures, views, indexes, and performance tuning.
• Experience developing and maintaining unit tests.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; understanding of SOA and software design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions aligned with business requirements and objectives.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services and best practices.
• Own end-to-end solution design, implementation, code quality, and sprint execution activities.
• Collaborate with architecture, product, data, and business stakeholders to support platform modernization initiatives.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and service-oriented backend solutions.
• Work with QA and DevOps to ensure SDLC compliance and release management.
