Job summary

Bally’s Intralot offers a suite of gaming and transaction systems. You’ll work on a cloud-native, microservices-based lottery platform with a React front end, Node.js services, and MySQL data tier deployed via CI/CD on Kubernetes.

The role covers design, development, testing, deployment, and production support for a high-availability, real-time transaction platform, within an Agile team.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years as Software Engineer with increasing responsibilities.
• 2+ years building web apps with JavaScript/TypeScript, React frontend and Node.js backend.
• 1+ year experience with relational databases (MySQL preferred).
• Experience with containerized apps (Docker) and with source control and CI/CD tooling (Git).
• Exposure to microservices and Kubernetes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and microservices.
• Build React front-end apps and Node.js services meeting requirements.
• Design and optimize MySQL schemas and data access layers for high-volume processing.
• Develop and maintain operational and regulatory reports using platform tools.
• Containerize services and manage Kubernetes manifests and configurations.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated tests for frequent releases.
• Analyze requirements and translate into scalable designs.
