Job summary

Bally’s Intralot is seeking a Software Engineer to join a team building a cloud-native, microservices-based lottery platform. You will work on React front-ends and Node.js services, with MySQL as the data tier, integrated through CI/CD pipelines into Kubernetes.

The role requires 2–3 years of software engineering experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with containerization, CI/CD, and microservices. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years as a Software Engineer with increasing responsibilities.
• At least 1 year of experience with MySQL.
• Experience with containerized apps (Docker) and source control/CI/CD tooling.
• Exposure to microservices and Kubernetes is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and microservices for the lottery platform.
• Build React front-end applications and Node.js services meeting requirements.
• Design and optimize MySQL schemas and data access layers for high-volume processing.
• Develop and maintain regulatory reports and CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerize services and manage Kubernetes manifests across environments.
• Collaborate in code/design reviews and support production releases.
• Document designs and participate in audits for regulated jurisdictions.
• Assist with installation, deployment, and on-call support as needed.
