Job summary

Bally’s Intralot is seeking a Software Engineer to join a team delivering a cloud-native lottery platform. The role focuses on building web apps with JavaScript/TypeScript, React on the front end, and Node.js on the back end in a microservices environment.

The candidate will contribute to design, testing, deployment, and production support for a high-availability real-time transaction system. Strong MySQL skills and Docker/Kubernetes experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• BS/related field required or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years as Software Engineer with progressively increasing responsibilities.
• 2+ years hands-on web apps with JavaScript/TypeScript, React frontend and Node.js backend.
• 1+ year experience with a relational database, preferably MySQL.
• Practical experience with containerized apps (Docker) and source control/CI/CD tooling (Git).
• Exposure to microservices and Kubernetes is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, microservices, and utilities for the lottery platform.
• Build and maintain React front-end apps and Node.js services.
• Design/optimize MySQL schemas, queries, and data access layers for high-volume processing.
• Develop and maintain operational and regulatory reports using platform tools.
• Containerize services and manage Kubernetes deployment manifests across environments.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and quality gates.
