Job summary

Augustine Consulting, Inc. (ACI) seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain web assets for government programs at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

The role requires building front-end and back-end features with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Python, PHP, and SQL while ensuring DoD cybersecurity and accessibility standards. Candidates should have strong design, documentation, and collaboration skills, with a path toward supporting SharePoint sites and internal CMS.

Qualifications

  • Due to the sensitive nature of this work, a Department of War security clearance is required. All applicants must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of the work being performed, a candidate must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • High school diploma and 14 years of experience, or
  • Associate's degree and 12 years of experience, or
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of experience, or
  • Master's degree in a related field and five years of experience.
  • Must possess advanced technical skills in responsive design, wireframing, and visual design to create effective and user-friendly websites.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, PowerPoint & other design tools as well as HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML.
  • Knowledge of operating systems such as UNIX, Windows NT, TCP/IP.

Responsibilities

ACI is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of engineering and technical services to the United States Government. We seek an experienced, self-starting Software Engineer to serve as a part of ACI’s Government Programs team, which supports CPE ISW for IEW&S HQs SETA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A Software Engineer at ACI is responsible for providing web design and development services in support of communication and information platforms. This includes complex coding, maintenance, analytics, marketing integration, and user education. The software Engineer will produce uniquely tailored products that meet the specific needs of the organization, and:
