Job summary

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of professional experience involving research, design, and development of computer or network software, or specialized utility programs.
• Experience supporting database maintenance within an application environment.
• Strong experience applying software programming concepts in academic or professional settings.
• Demonstrated experience with modern development methodologies, including Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps.
• One (1) year of direct, professional Kubernetes experience.
• DoD 8570 / DoD 8140 Compliance (Level II or Level III) certification.
• Must hold an active SECRET clearance at the time of application.

Responsibilities

Ignite Digital is seeking a motivated Software Engineer with hands-on Kubernetes experience to support a government customer in the Norfolk, VA area. This onsite role requires a technically strong engineer capable of contributing to modern software development efforts using Agile and DevSecOps methodologies. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced mission environment, applying programming concepts to design, build, deploy, and maintain containerized applications in support of critical government systems.

Salary: $120k+ to align with education and experience.
