Job Description

What projects might I support?Although subject to change, examples of projects you will be contributing to include:

• Supports analysis and development activities focused on integration with other applications.
• Eagerness to learn and stay current on industry trends and have a continuous learning mindset.
• Applies foundational functional knowledge to produce work deliverables in support of departmental initiatives

This internship will start in May of 2027, working a hybrid schedule from our headquarters in Des Moines.

Qualifications

• Current junior, senior or graduate student pursing a Bachelor's degree inInformation Security, ComputerScience, Business Analytics, MIS,or related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of developer concepts/tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages (ex. NodeJS, AWS SNS/SQS/Lamda, SQL, AWS Glue, Python) and computer operating systems – Windows, Unix, etc.
• Demonstrate proficiency with modern AI tools and incorporate them effectively into engineering workflows and development practices.
• Knowledge and experience with structured and/or object‑oriented programming techniques.
• Analytical problem‑solving skills. Accuracy and high attention to detail.
• Ability to trouble‑shoot and develop creative and efficient technical solutions.
• Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Excellent writing and communication skills; excellent organizational skills. Strong time management skills and ability to continually prioritize as needed.

Preferred

• Prior work experience in an office environment or internship
