Job summary

Nominal in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Summer 2027 software engineering intern with strong engineering fundamentals. You will work closely with world-class engineers on high-impact problems, contributing to data infrastructure, feature design, and product expansion as the company grows.

You will gain hands-on experience testing complex hardware systems such as reactors and aircraft, while receiving mentorship and opportunities to co-locate with teams across offices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing engineering degree, graduating Summer 2028 or sooner.
• Solid engineering fundamentals.
• Eligible for a Summer 2027 internship.

Responsibilities

• Dive into cutting-edge data infrastructure for high-frequency hardware data.
• Design and build new features with customers, often with field users.
• Own projects from start to finish with mentorship from world-class engineers.
• Help Nominal grow by onboarding new customers and expanding product offerings.
