Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an Intern in the Digital Data Networks Business Unit at our Webster, NY location. You will work with MPDE on software prototyping, design, testing, and documentation of advanced laser systems producing specialized fiber assemblies.

You will assist in code reviews, validation testing, and writing sub‑routines to support advanced manufacturing processes, while presenting findings to engineering and leadership teams to build communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Pursuing a BA/BS in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Internship experience or a major project is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate mechanical components using industry‑standard design tools.
• Collaborate directly with engineers across the full product development lifecycle from ideation to launch.
• Apply engineering fundamentals in a real‑world product environment.
• Conduct design reviews and contribute ideas that influence product outcomes.

Education
