Smarty invites you to join our software engineering internship in Orem, UT. Students pursuing a BS in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering will contribute to backend and API projects while gaining hands-on development experience.

The program runs January 2027 through August 2027, with a minimum of 15 hours per week during Winter/Spring terms and potential additional summer hours. Onsite only.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with software development through class projects or internships is preferred.
Knowledge of relational databases and basic SQL concepts is expected.
Hands-on experience with programming languages is required.
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
Enjoyment of learning and having fun while working with a team.

Responsibilities
