Job summary

Duolingo is seeking a software engineering intern to contribute to full-stack projects, develop and maintain features, and collaborate across teams. You will work with mentors to deliver impact for learners and internal users while gaining hands-on experience in a mission-driven environment.

The role requires pursuing a CS-related degree, with graduation window of December 2027 to August 2028 and two 12-week availability windows in 2027. Apply by Sept 30, 2026 for consideration.

  • Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, Kotlin, or Swift.

  • 12 weeks of consecutive availability June 14, 2027 - September 3, 2027
  • Deadline to apply: September 30, 2026

Hourly Range for this internship is: $54 - $56 USD
