Job summary

Duolingo is seeking a technically passionate student for a hands-on internship in New York. You’ll contribute to full-stack projects, help build services, and maintain infrastructure while learning from senior engineers.

You’ll participate in code reviews and collaborate across teams to ensure scalable, high-quality software that supports millions of learners worldwide. You’ll work under close mentorship, gain practical experience across product areas, and experience a fun, mission-driven

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Graduating December 2027 - August 2028.
• Dedication to Duolingo's mission of accessible education.
• Programming experience in Java, Python, Kotlin, or Swift.
• 12 weeks of consecutive availability: May 24, 2027 – Aug 13, 2027 or Jun 14, 2027 – Sep 3, 2027.

• Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, Kotlin, or Swift.

Hourly Range For This Internship Is

$54—$56 USD
