Job summary

Duolingo is looking for a motivated undergraduate software engineering intern to join a small team and work on a real-world project. You’ll sharpen your coding abilities in Java, Python, Kotlin, or Swift while engaging in engineering talks, trainings, and guest sessions.

You should be a second-year CS student graduating December 2028–August 2029, with at least two CS courses completed and a transcript. You'll relocate to Pittsburgh, PA for a 10-week program from June 14, 2027 to Aug 20, 2027,

You have...

• Second-year undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. Graduating in December 2028 - August 2029
• Completion of at least two college-level computer science courses (please upload your official or unofficial transcript).
• Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, Kotlin or Swift.
• Dedication to our mission of accessible education
• 10-week consecutive availability from June 14, 2027 - Aug 20th, 2027
• Ability to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA

Hourly Range for this internship is:

$47 — $49 USD
